Base Salary
$85k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable code for dynamic user interfaces across multiple platforms.
- Build and integrate cloud-native services using Ford enterprise systems.
- Enhance testing frameworks and improve test automation, including end-to-end and performance testing.
- Monitor and evaluate application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with multi-skilled teams on commercial and fleet software solutions.
- Apply Test-First Development, Test-Driven Development, pair programming, and collaborative code review practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of front-end development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or C#.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with modern relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience building web UIs with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
- Proficiency debugging with modern tooling and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Terraform.
- Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, Spring/Spring Boot and web-service development experience, machine learning or data analysis exposure, SQL and NoSQL knowledge, React.js expertise, and experience with Mocha or Jest.
