Responsibilities
- Build solid, high-performing microservices using Node.js and modern frontend frameworks.
- Work with microservice and serverless architectures in a production environment supported by GitHub Actions and AWS services.
- Own work across the problem, solution, production, and iteration lifecycle.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and business impact.
- Collaborate closely across multiple teams and enable other teams to succeed.
- Contribute to evolving the platform from legacy systems to modern, modular solutions.
- Use consumer feedback and behavior data to improve product iterations.
- Use AI tools where they add value to development, quality, and learning.
Requirements
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience working with the AWS cloud platform, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
- Experience contributing to refactoring or modernization efforts.
- Experience working across team boundaries.
- Platform or enablement team experience is a bonus.
- Experience with high-traffic or transactional systems is a bonus.
- Experience working in ambiguous or fast-changing environments is a bonus.
