Responsibilities
- Own the pod’s full software delivery lifecycle, including design, implementation, quality, deployment, and production measurement.
- Design, build, and debug backend and frontend software with distributed systems awareness.
- Use AI agents for code generation, testing, specification writing, deployment, and other delivery workflows.
- Evaluate and improve agent workflows using steering documents, prompts, rules, and skills.
- Write clean, well-tested code and take end-to-end ownership of application quality.
- Act as the initial on-call responder and maintain the health and stability of deployed applications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to shared tooling, knowledge bases, and the agent foundation kit.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Java/Spring Boot, Python, .NET, Go, or Angular, with the ability to learn other technologies using AI.
- Strong foundation in distributed systems, data structures, API design, database concepts, and cloud computing.
- Experience with clean code practices, TDD, CI/CD, and version control.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, and production debugging.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for code generation, pair programming, and automated testing.
- Experience with agent systems, MCP/tool protocols, or AI-augmented workflows.
- Experience designing evaluation and observability strategies for AI-generated outputs.
- Contributions to shared tooling, internal platforms, or open-source projects are a plus.
- Experience in regulated industries such as gaming, financial services, or healthcare is a plus.
