Responsibilities
- Translate user needs, system requirements, and business processes into functional and technical specifications.
- Design, document, test, support, maintain, and debug large-scale proprietary software solutions.
- Serve as a technical expert throughout the full software development life cycle.
- Conduct acceptance testing with users and consult with end users to refine software components.
- Lead team performance and collaborate with team members to deliver quality work on schedule.
- Manage project schedules and control costs.
- Investigate exceptions, identify root causes, and resolve problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience leading a software team.
- Experience programming with Tableau, ETL tools, and RESTful APIs.
- Database development experience with PostgreSQL 11 or higher.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux distributions including CentOS, Red Hat, and Ubuntu, plus Windows Server 2019 or higher.
- Experience with IIS, PowerShell, Command Prompt, and batch file scripting is desired but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, attention-to-detail, multitasking, and process-improvement abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related area; a BS in Computer Science is a plus.
- Software programming certifications are a plus.
- Electronics manufacturing industry knowledge is desired.
- Experience with Git repositories, including GitLab, or JIRA is desired.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Kafka, Spark, Kudu 1.10 or higher, or Hive 2.1.1 or higher is desired.
