Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration, platform configuration, and testing for complex government software implementations.
  • Review configurations and migrated data for requirements alignment, accuracy, integrity, completeness, and maintainability.
  • Own customer data migrations end to end, including schema mapping, ETL configuration, scripting, transformation, and reconciliation.
  • Validate customer requirements, resolve ambiguity, and advise stakeholders on solution design.
  • Design and execute test scenarios before go-live and serve as the primary technical contact for customer and government stakeholders.
  • Improve implementation standards, templates, playbooks, automation, and reusable tooling while mentoring less-experienced engineers.
  • Partner with Project Management, Customer Success, Data/Integration, and Product teams to improve delivery and incorporate field feedback into the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in software implementation, data migration, or technical consulting, ideally with enterprise or SaaS products.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on SQL scripting experience involving complex queries, data transformation, and reconciliation.
  • At least 3 years of Python or similar scripting experience for automation and data processing.
  • Deep experience with database technologies, ETL, data migration concepts and tools, schema design, and performance considerations.
  • Experience implementing AI-driven solutions for automation, workflow optimization, and data-driven insights using modern frameworks and AI models.
  • Experience delivering complex implementations end to end and mentoring or technically guiding less-experienced engineers.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, customer-service, attention-to-detail, validation, reconciliation, and adaptability skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
