Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, from customer conversations and data modeling through advisor-facing interfaces and production delivery.
- Build agentic product experiences including chat affordances, background agents, and model-callable tools.
- Develop functionality across document ingestion, knowledge graphs, tax and wealth transfer modeling, collaboration tooling, chat agents, complex diagram-based UI, and advisory workflows.
- Build product functionality in Go, data models in Postgres, and interfaces in React and TypeScript.
- Use and improve conventions for data modeling, GraphQL, and component architecture.
- Learn estate planning and wealth transfer domains from internal experts, advisors, attorneys, and government officials.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and communicate with customers about their needs and feedback.
Requirements
- Four or more years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices, ideally including startup experience.
- Comfort working across the stack, including Postgres, Go, React, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with cloud web applications and complex data models.
- Familiarity with any of React, TypeScript, GraphQL or Apollo, Playwright, Go, Postgres, and Temporal; curiosity can substitute for direct experience.
- Product-minded approach with interest in gathering context, observing customer usage, and forming opinions about product needs.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a distributed team.
