Responsibilities

Build frontend interfaces for the Kosmos platform and manufacturing applications embedded in it.
Develop components, conventions, tooling, documentation, and guidance for AI agents, full-stack engineers, and forward-deployed engineers.
Make architectural decisions that keep the frontend consistent, maintainable, and scalable.
Deliver high-volume, polished frontend work using AI while maintaining usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
Work directly with founders, engineers, customers, and factory-floor users.

Demonstrate strong frontend fundamentals, visual judgment, architectural decision-making, and the ability to create reusable abstractions appropriately.
Use AI as a serious engineering tool and turn it into reliable engineering output.
Learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and make sound technical tradeoffs.
Preferred experience includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, design systems, component libraries, Storybook, visual regression, accessibility and browser testing, SDKs, developer platforms, embedded applications, microfrontends, and complex interfaces.
Prior credentials, years of experience, and familiarity with the exact stack are not required; evidence of cleverness, craft, and learning speed is valued.
