Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and plugins for configuration management, deployment, and operational automation.
- Automate server management and operational tasks using Python and Bash across Linux environments.
- Design infrastructure architecture for scalable, highly available, secure services and platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for microservice deployments.
- Manage Amazon EKS clusters, including provisioning, upgrades, node groups, RBAC, Helm, ingress, autoscaling, and workload optimization.
- Implement GitOps deployments using ArgoCD and Argo Workflows.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform across AWS and other cloud providers.
- Implement observability, centralized logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in root cause analysis, and conduct operational reviews.
- Manage vulnerabilities, secrets, certificates, SSL/TLS, mTLS, databases, caching services, Linux upgrades, patching, and image builds.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and improve software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a DevOps focus.
- At least 1 year of hands-on web development experience.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps fundamentals, rapid software delivery, networking, encryption, hashing, SSL/TLS, and security practices.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ansible, Linux system administration, AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure with strong ownership, problem-solving, collaboration, and operational focus.
