Responsibilities
- Develop the iOS application architecture and manage performance and memory.
- Integrate on-device ML inference frameworks for audio processing.
- Implement a real-time audio pipeline using AVAudioEngine.
- Manage background model delivery and network transition handling.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer transcript sharing between devices.
- Ensure Swift concurrency without data races or deadlocks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping production iOS apps in Swift.
- Direct experience with AVAudioEngine or AudioUnit at the hardware callback level.
- Proven track record integrating ML or signal-processing frameworks into iOS apps.
- Proficiency in managing memory and performance on constrained devices.
- Experience with background URLSession and resilient download/upload systems.
- Comfort with protocol-oriented architecture and multi-module Swift packages.
