Base Salary
$190k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups to provide application software development services and technical support.
- Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD documentation using knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Design, develop, code, test, implement, document, maintain, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade cross-functional application systems.
- Build Java/J2EE software solutions, APIs, scalable services, real-time streaming solutions, messaging services, and event-driven communications.
- Develop modular micro-frontend components for web and mobile platforms using Node.js, React, and Angular.
- Conduct code reviews, test-plan and test-data reviews, software verification, quality assurance, and application security activities.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business users, project managers, and other engineers to deliver and enhance systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Seven years of progressively responsible experience in the offered role or a related IT occupation in the financial services industry.
- Seven years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, MongoDB, Spring Boot, REST APIs, scalable services, and design patterns.
- Experience creating real-time data streaming and messaging solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, WebSocket, Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL, Node.js, React, Angular, Git, Bitbucket, Splunk, JUnit, SonarQube, JIRA, Maven, and Veracode.
- Experience with application resiliency, security, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
