Principal Engineer - Gen AI

- Advise leadership on applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, and web technologies for complex enterprise needs.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex, enterprise-wide technical challenges and deliver long-term, large-scale solutions.
- Translate business objectives, enterprise technology environments, and strategic opportunities into technical engineering solutions.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise on innovative business solutions and technology implementation.
- Monitor industry best practices and recommend innovations that improve operations or provide competitive advantage.
- Serve as an expert technical advisor and engage strategically with professionals and managers across the enterprise.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Deep end-to-end GenAI expertise, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, LLMOps, observability, and production deployment.
- Strong expertise in agentic AI platforms and multi-agent architectures, including planning, reasoning, memory management, tool orchestration, workflow automation, and autonomous execution frameworks.
- Leadership experience with AI evaluations, benchmarking, model quality assurance, red teaming, safety testing, performance measurement, and continuous evaluation frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of AI guardrails, Responsible AI, GenAI governance, model lifecycle management, compliance, auditability, policy enforcement, risk controls, and enterprise governance.
- Understanding of GenAI cybersecurity risks and mitigations, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, model abuse, supply chain risks, OWASP LLM Top 10, and MITRE ATLAS.
