Responsibilities
- Research, design, build, and test software features for embedded Linux systems on ARM and x86_64 architectures.
- Troubleshoot and document customer issues for Imagine Communications products.
- Perform self-directed and peer code reviews.
- Document, plan, and break down high-level feature requests into sprint-sized tasks.
- Work with broadcast equipment, networking technologies, and video development products.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience in embedded or PC systems.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++, embedded systems, object-oriented design, Linux, and Bash CLI.
- Experience and understanding of networking technologies.
- Experience with broadcast industry technologies and standards such as ST2110, PTP, SMPTE, and IBU.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, Git, and CVS.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and tasks to people at all levels, including customers.
