Responsibilities
- Develop new features for Voice over IP stacks, Telephony DSP, and SLIC applications.
- Fine-tune audio algorithm and application parameters for optimal performance.
- Collaborate on software development, debugging, customer support, and issue reproduction.
- Enable customer IP integrations.
- Develop tools to monitor and analyze audio quality in SIP infrastructure.
- Assist with deployment, configuration, and QA automation tasks.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with relevant teams.
Requirements
- Expert C programming skills with at least five years of experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in voice signaling and media processing for SIP, IMS, and advanced voice programs.
- Experience developing Linux kernel drivers, multithreaded software, OS inter-process communication, Linux systems, networking software, and related tools.
- Experience with socket programming and UDP/TCP networking.
- Knowledge of real-time communication protocols and technologies including SIP, SDP, RTP, and SRTP.
- BE/BTech in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field with five or more years of experience, or MS/MTech with three or more years of experience.
- Knowledge of ITU-T telephony standards, PacketCable, and audio codecs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Wireshark packet tracing and telephony call-control analysis is advantageous.
- Familiarity with security authentication, Kerberos, SDL, and threat modeling is advantageous.
