Responsibilities
- Embed with global Finance teams to identify high-impact technology use cases.
- Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for Finance.
- Architect the Finance systems landscape and determine build-versus-buy strategies.
- Own technical delivery from prototype to production.
- Create reusable technical building blocks and working patterns.
- Lead change management and upskilling initiatives to drive adoption.
- Track, measure, and communicate outcomes and accountability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software or forward deployed engineering experience.
- Strong product sense, including attention to user experience, commercial impact, and business objectives.
- Ability to independently develop technical specifications from high-level direction in ambiguous environments.
- Resourceful, self-directed problem-solving focused on delivering outcomes.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to infrastructure teams and product outcomes to executive stakeholders.
- Preferred: strong academic credentials from a top-tier university.
- Preferred: experience in management consulting, systems integration, or digital transformation leadership.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite and automation or AI tools.
- Preferred: familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Preferred: experience building software using Generative AI, LLMs, or automated agent workflows.
- Preferred: experience in fintech, payments, multi-currency ledgering, or regulated financial systems.
- Preferred: experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early employee.
