Responsibilities
- Build and integrate APIs that improve the customer journey.
- Optimize Lendable’s lending platforms and contribute to new product initiatives.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and help shape the future of the products.
- Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and modern engineering practices.
- Apply Domain Driven Design, CQRS, message-driven systems, and event sourcing.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong modern PHP development experience, with PHP 8.0+ required.
- Solid experience with Symfony or Laravel.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design, CQRS, message-driven systems, and event sourcing.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems is preferred.
- Excellent automated testing skills across unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Demonstrated ownership, autonomy, collaboration, and willingness to contribute ideas.
- Cross-functional experience is a plus but not essential.
