Responsibilities
- Take customer problems from discovery through production, using customer feedback to guide incremental delivery.
- Direct AI agents to draft implementations, tests, and migrations, then review, integrate, and harden the resulting work.
- Design and deliver robust production systems with appropriate testing and observability.
- Work across front end, back end, data, and infrastructure as required by the problem.
- Move between pods, problems, and streams while ramping quickly on unfamiliar domains and maintaining deployed systems.
- Own outcomes, raise risks early, and make decisions rather than escalating them.
- Apply product and design judgment while working directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production systems end-to-end, including design, rollout, monitoring, and iteration.
- Experience designing testing and observability for complex, debuggable, and evolvable systems.
- Strong systems experience in technologies such as Rust, C, C++, or Python, with the ability to learn unfamiliar languages and codebases.
- Experience delivering work outside a primary layer of the stack, including front end, data, or infrastructure work.
- Serious practical use of AI tools with the judgment to direct, review, and take responsibility for their output.
- Ability to shape solutions with product and design judgment and make sound decisions under ambiguity.
- Experience owning outcomes beyond immediate tasks and working effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
