Responsibilities
- Build data quality monitoring, data contracts, and lineage tracking for risk decisions.
- Design automated assurance systems that detect control drift, false positives and negatives, and coverage gaps.
- Create audit-trail infrastructure, change-history tracking, and explainability tooling for regulatory reporting.
- Integrate governance and assurance capabilities into the Risk API platform with shared data contracts.
- Design scalable, reliable, and operationally simple solutions for high-throughput data across multiple risk domains.
- Work cross-functionally with Risk API, Product, and Financial Crime stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience building high-throughput, data-intensive systems in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including designing for scale and reliability.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, pipeline orchestration, or data lineage tracking.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, identify failure modes, and design robust solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously from high-level objectives and drive delivery end to end.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and financial crime teams.
