Responsibilities
- Build data quality monitoring, data contracts, and lineage tracking for risk decisions.
- Design automated assurance systems that validate control effectiveness and detect drift, false positives, false negatives, and coverage gaps.
- Create audit trail infrastructure and explainability tooling for regulatory evidence generation.
- Integrate governance and assurance capabilities into the Risk API platform.
- Design robust, high-throughput solutions that scale across multiple risk domains.
- Collaborate with the Risk API team, Product, and Financial Crime stakeholders on contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
Requirements
- Proven backend engineering experience building high-throughput, data-intensive systems in any language.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including designing for scale and reliability.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, pipeline orchestration, or lineage tracking.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, identify failure modes, and design robust, operationally simple solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously, define work from high-level objectives, and drive delivery end to end.
- Ability to collaborate across team boundaries with Risk API, Product, and Financial Crime stakeholders.
