Responsibilities
- Build and own backend systems, APIs, services, Ethereum data pipelines, indexers, staking integrations, validator infrastructure, and monitoring tools.
- Design and operate systems end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Integrate with Ethereum execution-layer and consensus-layer clients and contribute to Liquid Collective and other blockchain infrastructure initiatives.
- Define engineering standards for API design, distributed-system testing, security, key management, and operational quality.
- Translate product and protocol requirements into technical specifications and use AI-assisted development workflows and agent-based tooling.
- Collaborate with protocol, product, and infrastructure teams while mentoring engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
- Improve engineering practices, team quality, and business outcomes through thoughtful adoption of AI and automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience building backend systems in Golang.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and experience with blockchain systems, preferably Ethereum, including execution and consensus layers, node operation, and data flow.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps such as Flux.
- Strong testing practices for complex and stateful systems.
- Experience working in remote, asynchronous teams.
- Hands-on Ethereum node, validator, or staking infrastructure experience is a bonus.
- Understanding of proof-of-stake mechanisms is a bonus.
- Experience with blockchain indexers, data pipelines, dApps, or Solidity smart contracts is a bonus.
- Familiarity with spec-driven development, code generation tools, MCP, agent-based paradigms, open-source contributions, or Rust is a bonus.
