Responsibilities
- Build trust with clients and lead platform engineering strategy and delivery across diverse engagements.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, secure, reliable, observable, and high-performing systems.
- Design and manage technical roadmaps while connecting long-term platform vision to delivered outcomes.
- Collaborate across the full ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model deployment, integration, and performance monitoring.
- Advise client leaders on architecture, platform evolution, technology tradeoffs, and product and business outcomes.
- Coach client engineering teams, transfer knowledge, mentor colleagues, and improve engineering practices.
- Facilitate retrospectives, strategy sessions, technical deep-dives, feedback conversations, and stakeholder alignment.
- Influence CTOs and executives and plan technical work across broader client organizations.
- Partner with account teams on opportunity identification, stakeholder relationships, and pre-sales scope shaping.
- Contribute to internal workshops, hiring processes, technical community activities, and company culture.
Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of repeated success across a variety of software projects and consulting engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship production-grade platforms, reusable software foundations, internal tools, infrastructure, and workflows.
- Experience taking AI and agentic systems from prototype to production, including infrastructure, authentication, and observability.
- Experience leading production software delivery across multiple languages, frameworks, stacks, ecosystems, and client industries.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML features such as recommendation engines, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, RAG pipelines, and agents.
- Experience leading modernization and replatforming efforts and solving architecture-level challenges involving scalability, security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and observability.
- Strong consulting, product-thinking, stakeholder-management, communication, mentorship, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience in platform engineering, data engineering, production agentic systems, DevSecOps, DevOps, MLOps, and infrastructure as code.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, RAG pipelines, vector search, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, and n8n.
