Responsibilities
- Own product and engineering problems end to end, including making both product and technical decisions.
- Build full-stack products and APIs used by other developers.
- Develop integrations across multiple providers, markets, and systems outside Kota’s control.
- Own product vision and strategy and ship new products or areas from scratch.
- Design complex workflows with strong attention to detailed interaction states.
- Lead engineers or designers while remaining hands-on enough to contribute effectively.
- Use AI to plan, build, and review work critically.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building products, APIs, integrations, or complex workflows.
- Product engineers should be comfortable making product decisions and speaking directly with customers.
- API candidates should have built products that other developers depend on.
- Product leads should have owned vision and strategy and shipped something from nothing.
- Leadership candidates should have led engineers or designers and remain close to the work.
- AI-native candidates should use AI critically across planning, building, and review.
- Applicants whose experience does not match the listed areas may still apply if they can identify where they would add value.
