Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy backend microservices for partner-facing fraud reporting, case management, RFI handling, audit logging, and transaction visibility.
- Build and maintain partner permissions, role-based access control, onboarding, communication, and SSO systems.
- Design consistent, documented partner-facing APIs and integrate capabilities from FinCrime, Compliance, and KYC teams.
- Conduct technical discovery, evaluate systems and dependencies, and produce design documents for the team.
- Provide production support and debug live partner issues.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and deploying backend microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and microservices patterns.
- Commercial experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, including OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, and versioning strategies.
- Experience designing and maintaining MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, including query performance, indexing, and data modeling.
- Ability to investigate complex technical landscapes, document findings, work independently, and collaborate with adjacent teams.
- Understanding of enterprise software requirements including reliability, auditability, compliance, and security.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise portals, partner platforms, B2B SaaS, payments, identity and access management, Kafka or other event-streaming platforms, and platform teams.
