Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to microservices architecture and improve performance, resilience, and maintainability.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations across distributed systems.
- Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Support senior developers, guide teammates, refine tasks, and help resolve technical blockers.
- Participate in Scrum planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain application quality and help identify, analyze, and resolve bugs.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog, including monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
- Intermediate English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Experience working with Agile methodology in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, follow standards and patterns, understand product architecture and business rules, and communicate clearly.
- Ability to collaborate with software engineers on coding, debugging, analysis, and problem solving.
- Relational or NoSQL database experience is a differential.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka is a differential.
