Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Contribute to microservices architecture and develop RESTful APIs and distributed-system integrations.
  • Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting of production issues.
  • Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support senior developers with technical solutions.
  • Refine tasks, solve bugs, maintain application quality, and provide guidance to other team members.
  • Participate in Scrum planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog, including monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work autonomously, understand product architecture and business rules, follow standards and patterns, and contribute to code reviews.
  • Clear English communication skills, both written and spoken, and the ability to collaborate with software engineers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with DevOps culture.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases is preferred.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka is preferred.
