Responsibilities
- Implement features, fix bugs, and resolve production incidents across iOS and Android.
- Own mobile initiatives end-to-end, from requirements gathering to production delivery.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex mobile problems.
- Review code and designs for correctness and alignment with mobile patterns.
- Contribute to and evolve mobile engineering standards within the team.
- Monitor the operational health of shipped work and respond to post-release issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
- Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals, including asynchronous programming and error handling.
- Working knowledge of relational and document databases.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP fundamentals.
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android platforms and their tooling.
- Experience with automated testing practices.
- Understanding of mobile security and handling of sensitive data.
- Ability to independently diagnose common React Native production issues.
- Experience owning mobile initiatives from requirements through store release.
