Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and scale robust, high-performance systems from design through production deployment.
- Own features end to end, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop features and APIs for concurrent applications in Golang.
- Implement and improve geometric and graph algorithms for core product functionality.
- Maintain Python and Java server applications for reliability and stability.
- Optimize application performance, uptime, scalability, code quality, and maintainability.
- Run benchmarks and write analysis scripts for geographical data.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent is required; an MSc is advantageous.
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience is required.
- At least 2 years of professional Python experience is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, multithreading, object-oriented programming, design patterns, system design, distributed systems, and software architecture.
- Proven experience building and scaling highly available, distributed, large-scale systems.
- Ability to solve algorithmic challenges in transportation, routing, and navigation.
- Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving skills.
