Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Profile, debug, and enhance the RCS protocol stack and client-side architecture.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate cross-platform video streaming and advanced media codec features.
- Design robust systems that handle massive concurrency and interoperate across global networks.
- Optimize low-level performance, reduce latency, and improve user experience.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
- Experience with Android system-level development or application framework design.
- Preferred: Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with real-time communication technologies, distributed systems, backend services, gRPC, and protocol buffers.
- Preferred: understanding of SIP, MSRP, DTLS, MLS, and end-to-end encryption.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
