Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and test product or system software for Android connectivity and Bluetooth features.
- Design, implement, and maintain the Android Connectivity stack and platform APIs for XR platforms.
- Review other engineers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and update it based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technology choices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in Java or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with Android platform, systems, AOSP, or application development.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience with connectivity stack architectures.
