Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ideate and build new Google Photos features using the latest Pixel capabilities and hardware.
- Design and implement frameworks that help Pixel and Photos engineers work across their shared space.
- Advise projects using technical expertise.
- Use AI responsibly in software development and product experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of Android application development experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: ability to mentor others, collaborate as a team, create psychologically safe spaces, and investigate AI-generated code.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000-$252000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
