Base Salary
$170k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features across the iOS and Android apps, including necessary backend changes.
- Own releases from cut to store on both platforms.
- Extend release automation to reduce manual effort and catch more issues before shipping.
- Build tests, instrumentation, and review gates that support high-quality releases without a manual QA pass.
- Drive architecture decisions across the mobile codebases and lead their adoption.
- Collaborate with product and design on feature decisions and product direction.
- Use coding agents appropriately and improve the tools, guardrails, and workflows for safe delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated production experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, including shipping shared KMP code or defining shared boundaries.
- Production code shipped outside the primary platform within the last two years, on iOS, backend, or web.
- Experience carrying a significant mobile architecture or platform change from proposal through adoption.
- Comfort working with APIs, entitlements, analytics, and services behind mobile applications.
- Experience building automation for repeatable failure modes and using device testing deliberately.
- Active experience using AI coding agents, including separating planning from execution and evaluating agent output.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including strong pull requests and design notes.
- Pragmatic judgment and the ability to balance speed and quality.
- Preferred experience with Compose Multiplatform, CallKit, the Android telecom framework, CarPlay, Android Auto, watchOS, Wear OS, RevenueCat, Bitrise, or Runway.
