Responsibilities
- Prototype and test virtualized Agile Multi Waveform satellite communications platforms and validate end-to-end operational readiness.
- Validate DIFI-compliant digitizers and evaluate Software Defined Radio waveforms for performance, reliability, and mission suitability.
- Drive cloud-based data lake use cases and apply Generative AI to satellite capacity planning, modem anomaly analysis, and predictive maintenance.
- Prototype Agentic AI workflows and automation for virtualized satellite communications platforms and autonomous operational decision-making.
- Support enterprise data architecture, governance, analytics, reporting, systems engineering, digital engineering, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Design and implement API-based integrations between internal and external systems, applications, and services.
- Contribute to architectures, technical roadmaps, requirements, interface specifications, system designs, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with software engineering, operations, business, and customer teams and support technical presentations and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 0-3+ years of experience in systems engineering, digital engineering, software integration, cloud architecture, data analytics, or related technical fields.
- Experience designing or implementing cloud-based solutions and working with RESTful APIs, web services, and software interfaces.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, system architectures, enterprise integration patterns, data analytics platforms, visualization tools, automation technologies, or enterprise data environments.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and practical knowledge of AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Preferred experience includes satellite communications, Software Defined Radio, waveform development, DIFI standards, virtualized Agile Multi Waveform platforms, enterprise data architectures, data lakes, data warehouses, and large-scale analytics.
- Preferred experience includes Generative AI frameworks, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, Agentic AI, autonomous workflow orchestration, Digital Engineering, MBSE, DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, RPA, and workflow automation.
- Experience supporting defense, aerospace, telecommunications, or satellite communications programs and knowledge of satellite communications architectures, network management systems, ground segment operations, or space mission operations are preferred.
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing, AI/ML, software architecture, cybersecurity, or data engineering are preferred.
