Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SETs, driving quality initiatives and automation excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and define test strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for APIs and end-to-end workflows.
- Leverage Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate test development.
- Conduct code reviews, identify defects, and build tools to strengthen test coverage.
- Partner with engineering management to plan and deliver high-impact projects.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address production and customer issues.
- Champion a quality-first culture and advocate for customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test, preferably in enterprise SaaS.
- Proven expertise in quality engineering for large-scale software systems.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java-based test automation and Web/API/Performance testing.
- Proficiency with automation and monitoring tools such as Selenium and JMeter.
- Skilled in test planning, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write and deliver high-quality, well-designed code.
