Responsibilities
- Implement existing and custom machine learning models and build production-ready cloud pipelines.
- Translate customer business needs into comprehensive technical solutions.
- Lead projects technically and guide junior colleagues through technical and client-related work.
- Investigate machine learning research and assess and integrate innovative tools and frameworks.
- Ensure high-standard completion of projects managed by the team.
- Mentor junior machine learning engineers.
- Conduct workshops for clients.
- Assist the sales team in qualifying and securing new projects.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or another quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of experience in machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Track record of developing and deploying scalable machine learning models.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms; Microsoft Azure experience is a plus.
- Native Dutch and English communication skills; French is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience mentoring and leading technical teams is a plus.
- Publications in relevant AI/ML conferences and journals are a plus.
- Experience in GenAI, NLP, vision, time series data, MLOps, digital twins, manufacturing, or finance is a plus.
