Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the agent development lifecycle from initial pilot through deployment, tuning, and continuous iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and build scalable agent solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Develop multimodal experiences, booking workflows, reservation-system packages, and new capabilities for platform integrations.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A high-agency builder and tinkerer mindset with the ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excitement about the travel industry and improving guest experiences.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Founder or founding-engineer experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
