Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, code, integrate, test, and maintain embedded software systems.
- Generate and maintain software lifecycle artifacts, including requirements, architecture, design, verification procedures, and results.
- Take technical ownership of one or more system components and summarize software issues for project leadership.
- Perform system-level testing, report results, and verify functionality and performance against customer requirements.
- Support root-cause analysis of system anomalies and troubleshoot automated test and test-equipment failures.
- Communicate with customers, technical leaders, and engineering team members.
- Travel up to 15% as required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active, existing DoD Secret clearance are required after day one.
- Experience developing software with C/C++, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with development toolsets such as Jira and Subversion/Git/version management.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Preferred experience includes aerospace, sensor fusion, vehicle control, computer vision, algorithm development, complex software systems, legacy-code refactoring, real-time multithreaded applications, embedded communications protocols, systems engineering, requirements-based development, and requirements management tools.
- Preferred experience includes DO-178B/C or similar safety-critical processes, embedded hardware/software integration, schematics and layouts, requirements-based verification, GNSS, DGNSS, RTK, WAAS, flight dynamics, and fixed-wing, rotary, VTOL, or HVTOL platforms.
