Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++ and Python within the Agile framework.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers on military technology planning, design, and development.
- Evaluate early software prototypes with cross-functional research teams.
- Implement requirements, detailed designs, software, integration, and verification according to software development processes.
- Complete assigned tasks according to program schedules and collaborate with teammates on technical decisions.
Requirements
- Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Requires in-depth software architecture, design, and development experience using C, C++, Java, Ada, and/or Python.
- Requires experience working in an Agile environment.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance after day one; the posting also states that an active and existing Secret clearance is required after day one.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include collaborative cross-domain development experience and demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and performance in fast-paced environments.
