Responsibilities
- Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams.
- Develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Support requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and engineering tools.
- Develop new work products and enhance existing applications and systems.
- Stay current with modern programming languages, artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, and related technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of five or more years of relevant professional software programming experience in development, integration, and/or testing using C++, Java, Ada, or a similar object-oriented language.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance, or the ability to obtain an interim clearance, is required before the start date.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Agile techniques, generative AI and machine learning, continuous integration and development tools, multithreading, memory management, performance optimization, shell scripting, embedded or real-time systems, network communication protocols, RTOS platforms, and open systems architectures.
- Preferred tools and technologies include Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, Ansible, ClearCase, VxWorks, and Integrity.
- Ability to solve problems independently, learn new technologies, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to collaborative technical teams.
