Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, debug, and document complex information systems, programs, subroutines, and scripts.
- Support and enhance Transparency in Coverage processes and cloud, data, and AI initiatives.
- Help teams build and operate solutions in Google Cloud Platform and automate development and deployment processes.
- Respond to system failures and performance events to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence.
- Serve as a project lead, business systems analyst, technical lead, or manager of project phases when assigned.
- Provide guidance and training to less-experienced analysts and programmers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of systems and programming experience.
- At least one year of experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
- At least one year of expert working knowledge of a programming language used at BCBST.
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience, cloud automation, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven information technology, analysis, design, and coding skills, including success leading large and complex projects.
- Ability to translate technical or complex concepts for project team members and business personnel.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical coworkers; Scrum Master or project coordination experience is a plus.
