Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain production environments using infrastructure as code, configuration as code, serverless, and containerization.
  • Provide and scale internal infrastructure that supports software development and cloud product delivery.
  • Develop custom tools and automation through programming and scripting.
  • Maintain and scale continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.
  • Apply data lifecycle management through backups, permissions management, and auditing.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, alert triage and escalation, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Integrate security best practices into system designs and configurations.
  • Evaluate, plan, configure, and implement new software services.
  • Set technical direction, mentor and delegate to others, and cross-train staff on new technologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and cloud and delivery teams while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with continuous integration tools and techniques, configuration management and deployment tools, or systems administration focused on performance, capacity planning, and forecasting.
  • At least 3 years of experience using operating systems and shell scripting, including macOS and Linux.
  • At least 3 years of experience with a current programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang.
  • At least 3 years of experience using source control management tools such as Git or Subversion.
  • At least 3 years of experience using issue tracking software such as JIRA or Salesforce.
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade software and understanding the software development life cycle is preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, enterprise security and hardening, cloud-native services, monitoring and logging, containerization, Kubernetes, and structured databases is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
  • Relevant preferred certifications include LPIC-1, LPIC-2, LPIC-3, RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, and AWS Certified SysOps Associate.
