Responsibilities
- Learn and become the internal expert on the Lending API, including endpoints, webhooks, and failure modes.
- Guide partner engineers through sandbox, production, and ongoing integration optimisation.
- Review partner customer journeys and recommend changes to improve funded-business outcomes.
- Triage live integration issues, trace problems through logs and code, and collaborate with Partner Flow engineers on fixes.
- Own technical relationships with partner engineers and commercial leads.
- Present new API features to partners and communicate partner needs internally for roadmap consideration.
- Build monitoring, analyse integration performance data, and investigate emerging issues.
- Own and improve the public API documentation.
Requirements
- A degree in a technical or scientific subject such as computer science, engineering, maths, physics, or a similar field.
- Understanding of and interest in how APIs work, sufficient to follow the logic of partner integrations.
- Clear, concise communication with technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to manage partner expectations.
- An analytical, root-cause-focused approach to problem solving.
- Commercial judgement when prioritising problems and partners.
- Comfort using AI tools for investigation and analysis.
- Partner-facing or customer-facing technical experience is beneficial.
- Experience reading API documentation or debugging an integration, including through a side project, is beneficial.
- Basic coding experience is beneficial.
