Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executive and technical audiences.
- Demonstrate Snowflake technology and communicate its value throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
- Develop technical champions within customer accounts to support deals and achieve technical wins.
- Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake appropriately.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Build joint architectures and collaborate on account strategies and customer initiatives.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Python.
- Preferred experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred experience with data science and machine learning technology.
