Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance backend microservices handling massive API traffic within a 50 ms time budget.
- Develop API management tools for key and resource access control, abusive traffic detection, mitigation, and platform compliance.
- Leverage GCP big data pipelines, BigQuery, and Airflow for large-scale technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to automate processes and decision-making.
- Maintain high-quality code and apply engineering best practices to distributed systems.
- Occasionally contribute to frontend tasks, including React work.
Requirements
- Commercial coding experience in Kotlin or Java, with willingness to deepen Kotlin expertise.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges in massive-scale distributed systems using high-quality engineering practices.
- Interest in using AI tools in daily engineering work.
- Openness to occasional frontend development, with React experience considered a plus.
- Effective communication skills in Polish and English at least at B2 level.
- Willingness to work from the Warsaw-based team in the stated hybrid arrangement.
