Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated integration and end-to-end tests for frontend and backend services.
- Coordinate with project teams to triage defects, debug issues, and validate fixes.
- Test new features and regressions across hardware and software, executing comprehensive test plans.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
- Drive initiatives to increase automated test coverage and improve test efficiency through automation.
- Define and evolve a test automation strategy with QA engineers and developers.
- Stay updated with tools like Jira, Confluence, and TestRail, driving their effective adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance on significant components or mid-size applications.
- Understanding of risk-based testing approaches and collaboration with product/engineering leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Extensive experience with tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
- Ability to quickly learn complex business logic and identify creative testing methods.
- Deep understanding of test strategies and methodologies relevant to the domain.
- Ability to enhance frontend and API integration automation test coverage.
- Preferred experience with automation testing in enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Continuously improve testing processes and challenge existing automation test suites.
- Strong interest in automation and familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
