Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of augmented reality learning experiences.
- Create immersive and interactive experiences using 3D animation techniques.
- Integrate AR and 3D animation into live courses, e-learning, and job aids with subject matter experts.
- Research emerging augmented reality and 3D animation technologies and recommend learning applications.
- Test, refine, and oversee AR experiences and supporting devices for learning objectives and usability.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve problems with AR experiences.
- Create development documentation and user guides for AR experiences.
- Prepare instructors to use new augmented reality experiences and 3D animations.
- Share relevant AR, e-learning, and 3D animation trends with leadership and the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in training and development, including developing and delivering training programs.
- Proven experience as an augmented reality developer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of augmented reality development tools, programming languages, and 3D animation software is preferred.
- Experience with PTC Creo Parametric, Illustrate, Vuforia Studio, and ThingWorx is a plus.
- Experience using AI to generate learning content and create process automations is a plus.
- Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and augmented reality device infrastructure is preferred.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Adult Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, leadership, communication, teamwork, project-management, and instructional-translation skills are required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
