Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead on customer engagements for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions.
- Design, build, and deploy tailored Salesforce and AI solutions.
- Engineer distributed systems across AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, microservices with Kubernetes and Docker, and data pipelines.
- Build and ship secure, optimized, production-grade software using AI-assisted development workflows.
- Design AI-agent systems that integrate with human workflows and maintain shared system context for reliable AI operation.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Partner with customers and mission stakeholders to translate complex needs into technical solutions.
- Lead rapid prototyping, root cause analysis, and engineering best-practice adoption.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical role model.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in Java, GoLang, Python, or Ruby.
- Demonstrated AI-first engineering approach and experience using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to develop reliable system context for AI outputs.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Experience working in an air-gapped GovCloud environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across command-center and executive-briefing settings.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship without dual citizenship and ability to meet applicable customer and government screening standards.
- Preferred experience in defense, aerospace, classified environments such as IL5/IL6, or federal civilian agencies.
- Preferred customer-facing, hands-on technical lead or architect experience.
- Preferred Salesforce experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, Flows, LWC, or Apex.
- Preferred familiarity with IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 requirements or classified-environment deployments.
