Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design, implementation, validation, and delivery of product features across backend and frontend layers.
- Develop backend applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud-native patterns.
- Build and integrate responsive web applications using React or Angular and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Own application deployments and chart definitions, including Kubernetes-based delivery.
- Ensure secure, high-quality solutions through development and security processes, unit-test coverage, and vulnerability identification.
- Handle customer-escalated issues and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, implementation support, and knowledge sharing.
- Propose, prototype, and evaluate technical solutions through PoCs and contribute to performance, scalability, process, and developer-productivity improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of application development experience with strong hands-on Java full stack development.
- Strong experience designing and implementing backend applications with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Mandatory frontend experience with React or Angular, including UI architecture, frontend implementation review, and backend integration.
- Knowledge of data structures, OOPS, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns.
- Working exposure to a cloud stack such as GCP or AWS and to Kubernetes-based applications.
- Good exposure to a relational database such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and Docker-based applications.
- Python or Node.js experience is an added advantage.
- Experience with unit testing and a BDD automation framework is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, collaborate across teams, and adapt to different technologies.
- Experience leveraging AI in routine work or personal PoCs is an added advantage.
