Responsibilities
- Build and optimize compute-platform software for agentic AI workloads at scale.
- Work across applications, frameworks, compilers, libraries, assembly, and underlying Arm hardware.
- Debug complex issues, identify performance opportunities, and perform profiling and end-to-end performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Arm teams, the open-source community, and partners on AI and cloud-server technologies.
- Deliver technical work involving multiple contributors while working independently and navigating ambiguity.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and programming skills, preferably in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments, profiling, debugging, and performance analysis.
- A degree in a computational or numerate subject, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar software stacks and codebases and investigate complex performance issues.
- Preferred experience includes ML frameworks and LLM inference, such as PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, or llama.cpp.
- Preferred knowledge includes heterogeneous CPU and accelerator systems, agentic AI frameworks and protocols, databases, vector search, retrieval systems, containers, cloud/server infrastructure, parallel programming, collective communications, distributed AI workloads, open source, and SIMD technologies such as Neon, SVE, and SME.
- Strong collaboration, communication, independent decision-making, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
