Responsibilities
- Maintain, implement, and optimize the systems and applications powering continuous integration and deployment.
- Shape N26’s continuous deployment strategy and enable development teams to deliver features faster.
- Implement security and compliance checks as services within the deployment pipeline.
- Standardize pipelines and increase user autonomy.
- Mentor engineers and improve engineering practices.
- Contribute to roadmap definition and prioritization.
- Monitor incidents and production deployment issues to ensure stable and predictable delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one high-level programming language and its ecosystem, such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, containerization, and security in Unix-like environments.
- Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; AWS is N26’s primary provider.
- Experience planning, building, and supporting scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in security- and compliance-oriented environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, or Salt is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes administration is preferred, including experience with EKS workloads.
