Responsibilities
- Design and develop GenAI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Translate business problems into measurable AI outcomes and define evaluation metrics and product success criteria.
- Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and agent-based AI systems with tool usage and orchestration.
- Deploy AI solutions on cloud-native architectures, with Azure preferred.
- Implement prompt engineering, embeddings, fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and reliability and safety guardrails.
- Monitor AI quality, latency, cost, observability, and system reliability throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Embed responsible AI practices including bias detection, explainability, moderation, privacy, governance, security, and compliance.
- Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to prioritize AI features and influence enterprise AI architecture.
- Create reusable AI components and APIs and enable other teams to develop AI solutions.
- Optimize costs for LLM workloads and support multimodal and frontend-integrated AI experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI engineering or development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and agentic workflows.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Azure AI Search.
- Experience with data processing using Pandas, NumPy, and Spark or Databricks.
- Experience with MLOps or GenAI Ops, MLflow, pipelines, Docker, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Experience building APIs and integrating AI into applications.
- Understanding of monitoring, observability, system reliability, data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Preferred experience with agent-based or autonomous AI systems, LLM cost optimization, multimodal AI, and frontend integration.
- Additional certifications in AI, GenAI, or agentic AI are desirable.
