Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and contribute to hands-on coding, code reviews, refactoring, and technical documentation.
- Drive trunk-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, continuous delivery, and other modern engineering practices.
- Apply TDD, BDD, unit testing, secure coding, vulnerability assessment, and security compliance practices.
- Partner with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and cross-functional stakeholders on scalable and distributed systems.
- Optimize deployments, observability, performance, monitoring, and production resilience.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers while fostering engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong hands-on coding experience with Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Oracle.
- Deep expertise in system design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in TDD, BDD, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with code reviews, vulnerability assessments, secure coding, performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.
- Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with caching solutions and tooling is preferred.
- Experience with trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and agile working skills.
